1. This chapter is tested in Questions 1 - 10 paper 1 of the UPSR examination paper.
2. Section A has 10 multiple-choice questions. The questions carry 10 marks.They test pupils' knowledge and understanding in vocabulary at the word , phrase and sentence level.
3. Questions 1:4 test vocabulary at the word level .Some questions may have pictures.
4. Questions 5:7 test vocabulary at the phrase level. The questions are in the form of a text and are accompanied by pictures.

Tips on answering information transfer question
1. Read the instruction carefully. If the name of the person/place/event is given,you have to use the nam given.
2. Look at the series of pictures (3 pictures)carefully to get the main idea.
3. Then read all the words given carefully.
4. You must add at least one word for each dash.
5. Try to adhere to the forms of the words given when making sentences.
6. You must make sure that you use the right tenses.
7. You are advised to spend 35 minutes in answering this question.

Norrella is my best friend in school.She is a fair, pretty girl with dimple cheeks.She and I first met at Kindergarden and became great friends. She is a kind,jolly and helpfull.We are classmates again this year and we go to school together each morning.
In the evenings, we usually meet at my house.We sit in the garden and read story books.She is good in mathematics.So, whenever I fine difficulties in my maths homework,I would ask her to help me.Sometimes,When my parrents go out in the evening,she comes over to keep me company and we watch television together. That way I wont feel lonely.
I hope Norella and I will be in the same class again next year. I like her very much and hope she will be my best friend forever.

Tip's on making sentences
1. If you want to make a sentence in english you have to make sure that you'r sentence start's with a capital letter and ends with a fullstop at the end...
2. In the exam, if they ask you to make 5 sentences using the pictures given you need to make sure you don't make up names for them because they won't except your sentence
3. You can only use:
'The boy','The girl',The man' or 'The woman' ...
4. You need to make a sentence that includes with the picture's given in the exam..
